Create Google Cloud Project & Enable API

Follow these steps to configure a Google Cloud Project and Enable API for PlaceOS.

Prerequisites

• Google Cloud Console Administrative Access or Permissions to:
  • Create Projects
  • Enable API’s
  • Create OAuth2 Client ID.

Procedure

Configure GCP Project

1. Goto: https://console.cloud.google.com/
2. Click the Projects Dropdown
3. Click New Project in the Project Modal
   
4. Name your new project something descriptive eg. ‘PlaceOS Integration’\
5. Click Create

Enable API

1. If not directed, open your new project.
2. From the navigation menu select ‘APIs & Services’ then ‘Dashboard’.
   
3. Select ‘ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES’
4. Search for and enable the Following API:
   • Admin SDK (for staff directory)
   • Google Calendar API
   • Google Drive API (for attachments)
   • Marketplace SDK (not Marketplace API
